RainBarrelParts.com Shifts to new platform on November 13, 2021.
Our previous platform had a number of issues with keeping their platform and plugs-ins updated or ones that were needed to allow our clients a stress-free purchasing environment.
We were able to keep the look and feel of the site.
One improvement asked for is having ReCapture embedded into the cart. Buyers are NO LONGER REQUIRED to enter a password a part of the check out process.
Thank you for your continued support of RainBarrelParts.com and our offerings of EarthMinded - EarthMark rain harvesting supplies

My first attempt at setting up a rain barrel. It was so easy. The only issue I had was my rail barrels had a bit of a curve to them at the top of the barrel, so my overflow barrel did not fill once the main barrel was full. Simple fix, I lowered the overflow barrel by removing the bricks underneath. The overflow hose had to slope in a downward direction so the water would run into it once the main one was filled. I just have to purchase two extra seals, spigot and drain parts for the overflow so I can use the overflow first, then the main barrel. I use the rain water because the house water has water softener chemicals in it.

Any recommendations on water pumps for improving the flow from rain barrels? Maybe with solar power? ================================================================ We suggest following this link for a solar/battery operated pump:-) https://www.aquabarrel.com/solar-powered-pump-kits-c-264_312_313a-turborain-solar-powered-pump-kit-automatic-p-1001445.html
